How Help & Guided Learning Works
Students can select either learning option when Help is available. Opening Help alone does not affect their marks.
Learn the Method
Students study a different worked example to understand how to solve the question. They can then apply the method independently.
1 star for a correct answer
Full marks available
Learn the Method supports understanding without revealing the answer to the actual question. A correct answer receives full marks and one star. A question can earn no more than one star.
Show My Answer
Students confirm their choice, scroll down and press Show Answer to view the correct answer and its step-by-step example guide.
1 star if answered correctly
0 academic marks
After Show Answer, that question receives zero academic marks. A correct response is still marked Correct and can earn one star. Only that question is affected, not the rest of the exercise or examination.
